A Literal Splash of Inspiration

Whilst I was in the car the other day, some gush of water from an irrigator drenched the car. It was a beautiful day, bright blue sky and a couple of clouds places a a here and there. I had to capture the distortion that the water had made on the window. Usually when there’s water on a car window it’s because of the rain, on a dull day hence why I found this so unique!

It brings a sense of refreshment, almost like on a boiling hot Sunday afternoon watering the garden and getting splash of water on you by accident.

The fluid line that the water made on the window is beautiful in the way that it is not something seen regularly, especially with the bright view out of the window. Whilst the speed of the car spontaneously changed the formation of line it no doubt keeps the blurred distortion made in the first place.

It inspires me through the way that it was a case of right place right time, which excites me and brings enthusiasm to my current summer work projects. It encourages me in a way where something that I may not have realised may pop up or catch my eye may mean more to me than I once thought.

So from this, it has come to my attention that inspiration can come from anything and everywhere. Especially when it is least expected.

Keep your eyes peeled! Since some water may run down your window and you might just think WOW!! Haha, maybe.. maybe not.. who knows.

Emily :)
