I wanted to keep this blog post a little more chatty and casual to keep you up to date with what’s been going on behind the scenes.
Since opening for pet portrait commission at the beginning of July 2025 I have had so many enquires about custom pet portraits as well as fantastic orders. I must say, the photographs that I have been sent of customers pets are the most adorable and wholesome ones. It makes me so happy about how much we love our furry friends!

I took a trip to The Algarve, Portugal for a few days to get some sunshine and relaxation time which was fantastic. Since it was my first time enjoying Portugal, it made it extra lovely because of how I was experiencing another country for the first time. The food was delicious and the views were divine! Yes it was a holiday but also took lots of photographs for inspiration as there was lots of colour in Portugal.

Over the past couple of weeks I have received some wonderful Etsy reviews which have made me so happy that customers are over the moon with my products that they have received. Hearing such lovely words about my products put a spring in my step. And I hit 50 sales on Etsy... eeek! Thank you so much.

I attended my first market since the traumatising market in a thunderstorm. This market was yesterday and it was amazing! It made me fall in love with being a stall-holder again. In addition, it was the most successful market to date which is fantastic and makes me keen to attend that market more regularly (it was my first time in that location).

For the market, I made a brand new product which were my ‘lucky dips’. These consisted of a pack of four small illustrated prints in a pack and you could see the front print, yet not the mystery three behind it. I had seen ‘lucky dips’ be popular for other stall-holders and giving it a go really worked! This is something I will certainly be carrying on with.
